during the September event at Deerington, Richie acquired a Mimikyu and named him Venkman. Venkman is a cute little monster that only really knows three moves: Scratch, Taunt, and surprisingly, the Lvl 18 move Baby-Doll Eyes. according to Bulbapedia, “The user stares at the opponent with its baby-doll eyes, making them soften their attacks.” I’ve chosen to nerf and reinterpret this move for Deerington in this way:
Venkman can use this ability to charm people into liking him quicker. This doesn’t mean that your character will fall completely in love with a ragged little Pikachu knockoff—it just means they’ll be somewhat more favorable towards him. Think about the typical reaction to a cute little dog or an adorable baby, and that’s what Venkman is trying to invoke. Of course, this ability can backfire: instead of liking Venkman, your character might instead find him a little creepy!
